Kitchen Appliances

I have purchased these appliances over the years. If you ask me what is the most important one, I would say a good powerful blender. Then a food processor, and then a slow cooker.

If you have any suggestions please feel free to leave me a comment below. Also, these links are affiliate links and if you buy a product I make a small commission without any extra cost to you. These funds help me run this blog and share recipes with you.

Ninja Ultima Blender

I use blender for making green smoothies (please start drinking them ASAP!), oat flour, almond meal, chia jambrownies and even ice cream. This blender is of the same quality as Blendtec or Vitamix but significantly cheaper.

This is my food processor I’ve had for 2 years now. I use it for making ground meat, protein ballsbars and
no bake pies. Any blender won’t be able to process dry and sticky mixture.
Small Food Processor

This small food processor is more affordable and has great reviews. Many of my readers bought it.
Slow Cooker

I can’t live without my slow cooker, even in summer I plug it in outside. To me, slow cooker must be simple, large and programmable.  You can find many slow cooker recipes here and in my eBook.
Waffle Maker

I have a slight obsession with a waffle maker lately. Love making and freezing waffles for easy breakfast or snack. Gluten free or whole wheat, kids love waffles!
Hand Mixer

I’m not a delicate dessert baker, so I use hand mixer for making cookies sometimes. I personally do not see a need to spend money on expensive Kitchen Aid mixer.

Great for pureeing soups and also thickening them without flour. Also stick it right in the pot with cooked apples to make applesauce.
Popcorn Maker

As soon as I realized what is inside a popcorn bag and how chemicals are being released from the plastic into the corn while popping, I went and bought a bag of organic corn kernels and this popcorn maker. Stovetop pot method didn’t work for me.:)
Panini Press/Indoor Grill

Great for making panini, warm sandwiches and grilled cheese. Also great alternative to an outdoor grill in winter.
Ice Cream Machine

If you read  ingredients on an ice cream box, you will be shocked. Also organic ice cream contains sugar. We love making ice cream at home with coconut milk and maple syrup.

Kitchen Tools

Oil Sprayer

Stop wasting money on expensive cooking sprays with harmful propellant. I fill this baby up with avocado oil and it works like a charm.

Ceramic Skillet

Teflon coated skillets contain toxic PTFE and PFOA. Ozeri ceramic coated skillet is made with safe GREBLON in Germany (no China).

Good Knife

Chicago Cutlery is my favourite new knife. And I owned Henckels before. I prefer this one because it’s sharper and heavier.
Spiralizer

Make vegetable noodles out of zucchini, carrots, squash, sweet potato etc. for a lighter meal.
Spiralizer

If you don’t want to spend much or simply don’t have room in cupboards, buy this smaller spiralizer.
Silicone Muffin Tin

I love this BPA free muffin tin. Muffins pop out easily and no need to use the liners. Can also use for making jello, frozen yogurt bites and PB cups.

Silicone Baking Cups

Individual muffin cups are good for baking or lunch boxes. BPA free too.

Microplane Zester

Makes fresh lemon, lime or orange zest in seconds. Great using in desserts and salad dressing. This thing is sharp.
Cheesecloth

I use cheesecloth when making my so famous cauliflower pizza or “breadsticks”.

Stainless Steel Measuring Cups & Spoons

I avoid plastic touching my food as much as I can. These last forever, are chemical free and I can even melt coconut oil in them directly over the heat.
Glass Measuring Cups

Great for measuring large quantities of food like flour plus whisking salad dressings in. I own 2 cups & 4 cups ones.

Easy to clean and perfect for getting small amounts of juice quickly to use in making lemon water, salad dressings etc.
Glass Storage Containers

I avoid hot food touching plastic containers therefore I love these leak proof glass containers that are safe for baking. Just place the lid on top and refrigerate the leftovers.
Salad Spinner

Great for cleaning greens and herbs. Especially if you want to save money by growing your own or buying unwashed.
Unbleached Parchment Paper

When heated white (bleached) parchment paper releases harmful toxins into food. Same with aluminum foil. I use unbleached one, even under aluminum foil when casseroles need to be covered tightly.
Food Thermos

Perfect for hot lunches. I love that even a lid inside is stainless steel and no plastic is touching hot food. The trick is to pour boiling water for 5 minutes before adding hot food. My son loves taking Clean Eating Alphagetti to school.

Dishwasher safe, easy to clean and rust free. I do not want plastic in my family’s mouth. Kids always use these when drinking a green smoothie.
Kitchen Shears

Great for cutting herbs, greens and even raw chicken over the skillet when I do not feel like cleaning a cutting board.
Cutting Board

I love the size and drip grooves of this bamboo board. Fruit juices and bread crumbs can be easily pushed into the grooves to save on cleaning.
Whisk

Large stainless steel whisk with comfort grip handle. I use mostly for making muffins and pancakes.
Tortilla Press

This aluminum press is just as good as more expensive cast iron one. Great for making both corn and flour tortillas.

I love the shape of these glass bowls that last forever. Easy to rinse under tap and dishwasher safe.
Boxed Grater

Great for grating small amounts of vegetables and cheese.
Pizza Cutter

Great for cutting pizza, homemade bars, pasta, fruit leather etc.
Peeler

I love this skinny peeler vs. the wider one because it is easier to peel long narrow vegetables like carrots.
Salad Dressing Bottle

Great for making homemade salad dressing when you feel lazy to look up any recipes. As easy as adding all ingredients listed on the bottle, shaking and storing in the same bottle.

I do not use glass one because it requires longer cooking time. Instead I use this metal pan lined with unbleached parchment paper for making brownies and bars.
Stainless Steel Baking Sheet

I like stainless steel vs. aluminum meaning you can bake directly on the sheet without harmful chemicals leaching into your food.
Wok

I love this one with no harmful fumes, peeling, chipping or flaking off of the coating.
Pizza Pan

I like small size of these pans. I usually line them with unbleached parchment paper to avoid non-stick coating touching food.
