I’m so excited about this giveaway for you! I LOVE my new GIR spatula and I have no doubt 5 of you will love it too! It is sexy looking, durable, comfortable to hold, easy to use, perfect shape, dishwasher safe, easy to clean by hand, heat resistant up to 464 degrees F (flesh heat up to 600 degrees F). It’s everything you want your spatula to be. I tested it well in my busy kitchen. It gets into all little corners. The handle doesn’t melt if you leave it…

Life is crazy and we try to unwind on weekends. With good food, good friends and with a glass of good wine. If hockey is on, Alex is all in. That means little boys are glued to TV too. I really have no choice but to like hockey. Hey, we are Canadians. We love hockey! Past weekend we did just that and part of the menu was this Skinny 7 Layer Dip Recipe. It was nice to bring a variety to the table with something fresh and vegetarian…

A copycat version of Pure Chocolate Brownie protein bars – vegan, gluten free and made only from real ingredients. Dates, nuts, coconut oil, carob chips and I used Manitoba Harvest Hemp Pro 70 protein powder. And it really tastes like a chocolate brownie. It is smooth, a bit chewy, perfectly sweet without added sugar, doesn’t melt or stick. Makes a great snack on the go and kids love it! I love protein bars too! But because my body can’t digest whey protein well and because of so much…

Chef salad has been one of my favourite North American recipes ever since I landed on this prosperous land. Seriously, if you still don’t know, we got it all and way more. Trust me on this one. LIfe is crazy! My house is loud, gets messy (I’m a clean freak and paying for it) and there are always bazillion things on the schedule. By Thursday, I’m usually ready for a hot tub and wine but this week I did something different. I got back to working out regularly,…

Healthy homemade ranch dressing recipe with all the bells and whistles of a store-bought version. Salty and perfectly tangy buttermilk, combined with Greek yogurt and fresh dill. Oh, and those tiny pieces of freshly ground black pepper are a must! Perfect to serve over any mixed veggies and greens salad (like healthy chef salad), as a dip for chicken wings or your next vegetable tray. Being a true North American discovery, many years ago in Hidden Valley, this salad dressing is very close to me. Growing up in Ukraine, we…

These roasted chickpeas are a copycat version of Thai Lime & Chili Cashews from Trader Joe’s. You know my (and yours if you are in the US) addiction to Trader Joe’s. Although you still have to read labels because I found a few items with colours, preservatives and generally not clean in there. So, we bought these cashews twice. And then we had a problem. Cashews are awesome and so good for you but high in fat and should be consumed in moderation. The problem was these cashews…

How was your Halloween? I ate zero corn syrup sugary candies. Zero. Could care less…But when it comes to this, I’m all in. I love dark chocolate and I love fudge. Usually fudge is made of condensed milk, butter and sugar. But not this clean, vegan and gluten free avocado fudge. Full of healthy fats avocado and walnuts are combined with natural sweetness of banana, antioxidant power of cocoa powder and sprinkled with coarse sea salt for that mixed feelings taste.

Bob’s Red Mill was generous enough to offer 3 lucky winners a set of 5 whole grains. They were generous enough to supply me one too. Of course, I put quinoa to good use right away and made Mediterranean Quinoa Salad Recipe. When I combine feta, olives and red onion together, I think of a Mediterranean right away. Although I’ve never been. It’s on my “when-kids-grow-up-and-I-have-money” list. Ha, why can’t I have a dream?! Anyways. Add Ukrainian staple veggies like tomato, cucumber and bell peppers (summer meals in…

To develop healthy oatmeal cookie recipe has been my dream, pretty much, since I started this blog. You probably noticed I don’t have many cookies recipes except the protein cookie. That cookie recipe is phenomenal – great taste, easy to make, helped me to meet so many people and made me lots of money.;) It’s been sitting #1 in Google search results for “protein cookie” keyword for almost a year now. So, the reason why I haven’t posted any cookie recipes because I haven’t made any. All cookies…
