I get tired of my Magic Bullet Green Smoothie. Lately I’ve been using a lot of coconut milk in my recipes and this smoothie is no exception.
You know green smoothie is good for you. Anything green is good for you…not the Mountain Dew though.
Packed with vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium and antioxidants that help prevent cancer. Greens also help you eliminate toxins and waste that have built up in your body. Try to buy organic greens, it’s important! I love using frozen chopped mangoes – fast and no need for ice.
This one is super easy to make and store in a fridge for a day. I usually make a full blender and sip on it all day. Alex gets home and sips too…Then it’s gone fast. This is the one my kids are addicted to as well. Sometimes 4 of us have it for dinner instead of a salad. I add organic brown rice protein powder to make a post-workout drink.
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup spinach (pack it tight)
- 1 cup kale, chopped
- 1/3 cup light coconut milk
- 1 cup frozen mango chunks
- Add ingredients in this sequence to your blender: water, coconut milk, spinach, kale, mango. Blend until smooth.
- If you have trouble blending (depends on your blender), try blending liquids with greens first and then add mango.
