Here is my take on protein powder. I drink and eat it to cut back on sweet snacks, reduce meat consumption and recover after a workout. I drink and make protein balls with mostly plant-based protein and bake with whey protein powder. Important thing about protein powder in my recipes is to follow recipe’s instructions. Particularly, use plant-based when recipe calls for it, and whey when recipe calls for whey protein powder. They are not interchangeable, 99% the recipe will fail.
