Pineapple Jalapeño Salsa

Fresh Pineapple Jalapeño Salsa is a 10 minute sweet and spicy summer cookout favorite! Try dipping into it with chips or spoon over chicken, fish, salad and tacos.

Pineapple Jalapeno Cilantro Red onion Lime Chili powder Salt and pepper

Ingredients You Need

Dice pineapple: Cut off both ends, stand upright and remove skin going 1/2 inch deep. Slice in half lengthwise, remove core. Slice into 1 inch plates lengthwise and dice.

Combine: In a large bowl, add diced pineapple, jalapeno, cilantro, red onion, lime juice, chili powder, salt and pepper.

Stir: Cover and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to let flavors develop.

3. 

Serve: With tortilla chips. Or pile up on top of grilled chicken, fish, salmon, pork or tacos.

Add these items for variety! Tomato and avocado Peaches or strawberries  Seeded cucumber or bell pepper Diced papaya or mango Corn or black beans

Variations

Scoop onto chips or serve on top of salmon, chicken, or salad. Add to tacos or nachos.

Ways to Serve

Store

Refrigerate covered for up to 2 days. Make ahead by adding diced ingredients to bowl without stirring or adding salt. Store covered. Add salt and stir before serving.
