Baked Turkey Legs have juicy and tender meat inside and crispy skin. This turkey drumstick recipe is perfect for any gatherings, without roasting and entire bird.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Place cooling rack (roasting rack) on rimmed baking sheet and spray it with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a small bowl, add onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper and stir with a fork.
Place turkey legs on a large plate, pat dry with paper towels and brush with oil. Sprinkle with a spice mix evenly all around and place on prepared baking sheet.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Then cover loosely with foil or silicone lid and bake for another 30-40 minutes or until juices run clear when pierced with a paring knife and an instant read thermometer reads 160 degrees F.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes.
Serve warm with mashed potatoes, a side of roasted veggies or favorite salad.
