Lemon and Lime Iced Tea

Healthy Iced Tea is made with brewed tea, lime, lemon, club soda, and a touch of maple syrup for a healthy, refreshing sip to keep you hydrated on even the hottest days!

Water Loose leaf black tea tea or tea bags Maple syrup Lemon Lime Club soda Ice cubes

Ingredients You Need

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Turn off heat, add tea, stir and let steep while cooling down completely or until lukewarm.

Transfer tea to a large pitcher by laddling it through a mesh strainer; discard the tea leaves.

2. 

Add maple syrup, lemon and lime juice, and the peels (skins) to the pitcher, stir and let tea sit for 10 minutes. Then, discard the citrus skins.

3. 

Store your iced tea covered with plastic wrap or lid in a fridge for quite a few days. Right before serving, add ice and a can of club soda to a pitcher, stir and enjoy.
