Ingredients for Greek Yogurt Brownies
If you love to bake, you probably have most of these ingredients already.
- Plain Greek yogurt: Use a thick Greek yogurt for the best texture, as some brands can be watery or thin. I like Oikos or Kirkland. The higher the fat %, the better, I used 2% but pictured are made with 10%. If youโre in Europe, Dodoni is a good brand name.
- Eggs: Adds moisture and helps bind ingredients.
- Maple syrup: My go-to liquid sweetener for natural sweetness. You can also use honey or agave nectar.
- Coconut oil: Melted coconut oil makes brownies more fudgy. But you can also use is avocado oil or olive oil.
- Cacao powder: Adds rich, true chocolate flavor and a boost of antioxidants. Cocoa powder works too.
- Oat flour: The gluten-free base that absorbs the extra moisture from Greek yogurt and maple syrup.
- Baking essentials: Pure vanilla extract and baking soda.
- Mini chocolate chips: I like to use mini ones because you get more chocolate in every bite this way. You can use any regular chocolate chips.

FAQs
No. Regular yogurt has more whey and is too runny.
The best Greek yogurt to use is 5% or 10% but 2% works too. I donโt recommend to use 0% Greek yogurt because brownies will be more cakey.
